This is a WWII German Luger marked "41" on the chamber and "byf" on the toggle. The left side of the barrel extension is marked with the serial number and the left rear of the frame is marked "P.08". The upper safety area is marked "GESICHERT", with the lower position left blank. The front of the frame is marked with the serial number and the right side of the barrel extension is marked with "eagle/655" and "eagle/655" proofs and an eagle firing proof. All visible numbers match except the magazine. Blue magazine with black plastic base marked "fxo/eagle37" and "P.08" on the left side. Grips are checkered hardwood. Black leather flap holster is marked "HC/1941/eagle/WaA182" on the back between the belt loops and include an extra full blue magazine with plastic base.

Very fine with 80% plus of the original blue finish. Displaying small areas of edge wear, some light brown/red patina and areas of light pitting that have been cleaned and blued. The replacement grips are very good with some smoothed areas. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fair with some age cracks, flexible supple leather and solid stitching.
