Blade front and notch rear sights, with the "1936" date in plain numbers on the chamber, the "S/42" Mauser code on the front toggle link, "eagle/63" and "firing eagle" proofs on the appropriate components and a set of "eagle/swastika" stamps on the left side of the barrel and extension. This style and location of Nazi Eagle is chiefly associated with early arming efforts by the Kriegsmarine, and most strongly associated with the "K" date code Luger pistols; by 1936, they had begun transitioning to variants of the "Nazi eagle/M" stamp that would be a common sight on their hardware through war's end. Additionally, the front strap is marked "O.2550", suggesting issue from a naval armory on the Baltic Sea (Ostsee in German), such as Danzig. External numbers, including the nickel finished alloy base magazine, are matching, with straw finished small parts and checkered grips. With a black leather 1939 dated holster, marked for Karl Boecker of Waldbroel, "WaA721" and a Kriegsmarine "Nazi eagle/M" stamp.

Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing areas of gray patina on the sides of the muzzle and along the high edges, with some scattered handling marks. The Kriegsmarine Eagle stamps are double struck, and the front strap marking is crisp. Strong straw finish is present, with some dings on the takedown catch and bright wear. Grips are very good, with some darkening and dings. Holster is very good, with some scuffing and cracks. Mechanically excellent.
