A) Colt New Line 38 Caliber Etched Panel Revolver with Scarce 2 3/4 Inch Barrel

Manufactured in 1877 with the standard two line Hartford barrel address, etched "COLT NEW 38" on the left, "38 CAL C" on the left side of the framed, and the matching serial number on the cylinder, barrel, and frame.

ConditionVery good plus. The revolver retains 20% of the original case colors on the frame and traces of the original blue finish with otherwise a brown patina. There are some light scratches throughout. The grips are also very good with several dings and minor scratches along with wear on the high edges. Mechanically fine with legible markings.

B) Colt New House Revolver

Manufactured in 1883, with the two line Hartford barrel address, etched "COLT HOUSE 38" caliber marking, and "38 CAL" on left side of frame. It is fitted with hard rubber checkered grips with "COLT" in an oval at the top.

ConditionVery good. The revolver retains 40% of the original nickel plating along with nearly all of the nitre blue on the top of the hammer. There is some light pitting and minor oxidation along with handling and storage marks. The grips are fine with crisp checkering and only minor handling marks. Mechanically fine with clear markings.
