Description:

This is a very scarce and desirable Model 1914 Norwegian pistol as manufactured during WWII. These pistols were a modified copy of the US Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol and was intended to be supplied to the Norwegian Army until the capture of the "Kongsberg" plant by the Germans in 1940. The side of the slide is marked "11.25 m/m AUT. PISTOL M/1914" and the serial number with a "Crown K" proof of the Kongsberg factory. Right side of the slide is marked "1942 over a capital N". It has the correct Norwegian magazine with the lanyard loop on the base plate. It has all matching parts, serial numbered with the last three digits of the serial number. Fitted with the correct wartime light wood double diamond checkered grips with dark stain. These are very scarce pistols as very few were produced during the occupation and production of these never really resumed after the war.

Rating Definition:

Very fine overall with 85% plus phosphate finish, some areas of edge wear, cycling marks and some light scattered surface scratches. Grips are fine refurbished replacements with sharp checkering and good dark color. Mechanically excellent.
