Marked "AMERICAN AUTOMATIC PISTOL WALMAN PATENT" on the left side of the slide with an Eibar crescent moon proof just rear of the muzzle, as well as on the barrel itself. Similar in form to other Eibar region pistols of the time period. Fitted with a unique takedown switch on the right side of the frame, this switch releases the barrel and slide forward. Consignor notes indicate that it is a rare first model.

Very fine with 75% plus original blue finish. Displaying areas of edge wear, scattered dings and nicks, minor spotting, and minimal pitting. The grips are good with moderate handling marks, clear markings, and minimal age cracking. Mechanically very good.
