Manufactured in Spain as part of the early 20th century cottage industry in the Eibar region. Very similar to the "Ruby" type pistols of the region. With fixed sights, checkered molded grips and a lanyard staple at the heel. The left side of the frame and slide have a Belgian nitro proof mark.

Very good, with 20% original blue finish, primarily in protected areas near the grip panels and along the slide edge. Balance is a smooth brown/gray patina, with scattered light handling marks. Grips are near fine with clear markings and well defined checkering. Left panel shows some warping on the lower front corner. Mechanically excellent.

Commonly categorized as a "RUBY" type pistol coming from the early 20th century cottage gunsmith industry in the Eibar region of Spain. This is the shorter frame late version of this pistol with a 7 round magazine, frame notch sight, vertical cocking serrations, and the safety moved to the upper rear corner of the left side of the frame. With standard Eibar proofs on the left side of the frame and barrel. The barrel has the distinctive Fiel bullet marking. With checkered hard rubber grips.

Fine with 60% of the original blue finish. The slide has aged to a primarily smooth brown patina with traces of original blue in the protected areas like the sight notch. The frame has 80% of its original blue finish, with areas of thinning and edge wear. Displaying moderate handling marks and minor scratches. Grips are very good, with well defined though smoothed checkering, and some age deformation. Mechanically fine.
