A Chinese copy of a European semi-automatic pistol with features similar to those found on various Mauser type pistols. The frame and slide are marked with various Belgian style proof marks and the words "BELGIQUE", as well as a Mauser banner on the right side of the slide flanked by "Liege" type proofs. This is common on Chinese copies of European pistols of the early 20th century, it was thought that more discerning Chinese buyers would prefer a Belgian or German pistol and these were meant to simulate the correct markings. With a fixed pinched blade front and a false tangent rear sight, stamped with random numbers to simulate range increments, and grooved hardwood grips.

Good. With a primarily polished gray patina, and some small areas of darker spotting and pitting. Grips are very good with good fit, and attractive color. Mechanically fair.

Manufactured in China. Hammer fired with a fixed barrel, operating on a simple blowback design. With a blade front and no rear sights, although it does have a false rear tangent sight with no notch and seemingly random numbers stamped in the place of correct range increments. All markings are intended to simulate those found on a pistol produced by Fabrique Nationale of Belgium which is interesting due to this pistol clearly being patterned after a Mauser or Mannlicher design.

Fine with 40% original blue finish displaying areas of edge wear, scattered dings and scratches and light spotting. Grips are good with moderate handling marks, and no cracking. Mechanically fine.
