Manufactured in Spain as part of the early 20th century cottage industry in the Eibar region. Commonly termed "Ruby" pistols, these were primarily made for export to surrounding European nations and to the United States. This particular manufacturer did some contract work for the French military. With fixed sights, smooth molded grips and a lanyard ring at the heel.

Poor with only very small traces of blue finish displaying a primarily dark pitted patina. Most markings are obliterated. Grips are likely poor replacements with off sized screw holes and a missing screw on the left panel. Mechanically fair. Magazine is absent.

Class: Curio & Relic Handgun
Description:

Manufactured in Spain as part of the early 20th century cottage industry in the Eibar region. Commonly termed "Ruby" pistols, these were primarily made for export to surrounding European nations and to the United States, generally under names which would give the illusion of French or Belgian origin. With fixed sights, "ROYAL" molded grips and a lanyard ring at the heel. Firing pin is absent.

Rating Definition:

Good overall with scattered areas of edge wear, thinning finish, small nicks and dings and some deeper scratches. Grips are good with clear lettering and well defined checkering. The left panel is cracked at the top screw. Mechanically fine.
