This is a scarce example of a "41" dated Luger pistol that was produced by the Mauser factory that has the "42" coded toggle. It has the standard fixed front and rear sights, with the upper safety area marked "GESICHERT" and extractor marked "GELADEN" respectively. The front toggle has the wartime code of "42" for the Mauser factory. The barrel extension is marked with the double "eagle/ 655" proofs with a single eagle firing proof next to that, which is also stamped on the side of the barrel and breechblock. The left rear side of the frame has the late production, "P.08"marking. It has the standard serial number placement with the full serial number (2982) on the frame, barrel extension and barrel with the last two digits on the various smaller parts. It has an all blue metal finish with checkered grips. It is complete with one matching magazine that is marked on the left side with "122/Eagle/37" and only the serial number, "2982/o" on the aluminum base.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish overall with a hint of edge holster wear present on the usual wear points. The grips are in excellent condition with nice distinct checkering overall with only minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. As noted it has all matching numbers to include the magazine.
