This is an excellent example of an early production commercial DWM Model 1906 Luger intended for sale in Europe. This example has been manufactured with the early 1906 style long-frame with "GESICHERT" marking in the lower area. It has the correct blank chamber with the "DWM" logo on the front toggle, and "BUG" Nitro DWM factory proofmarks. It is numbered in the correct commercial fashion with the full serial number (25611) on the front of the frame and underside of the barrel and the last two digits of the serial number "11" on the various smaller parts. It is complete with a later production commercial magazine with an unnumbered wooden base marked "GERMANY".

Excellent with 97% of the original blue finish overall with edge and high spot wear. The various smaller parts retain 70% straw colors. The grips are in excellent condition with a nice dark brown color overall, distinct checkering showing light wear across the checkering and the right grip having a couple minor pressure dents on the center of the grips and a few nicked spots in the checkering. A scarce Luger variation.
