Manufactured between 1927 and 1941 with this example bearing the date code "LL" (1940) on the right side of the frame. Blade front and 1,000-yard tangent rear sights with a large ring hammer, niter blue safety and small parts, Spanish proofs on the right side of the barrel, chamber and frame, and the three-line Astra nomenclature on the side plate. Fitted with 12-groove walnut grips and lanyard ring. Included with the pistol is a hardwood stock holster, fitted with niter blue hardware and the matching number stamped "33417" inside the lid.

Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish showing some bright edge wear, some dings along the left side rail and minor handling marks overall. The grips are excellent with a few dings and attractive grain and the fine stock shows some dark rust spots on the hinge and scattered surface scratches. Mechanically excellent.
