Blade and folding ladder sights with a solid mum and "9/7/Type" nomenclature on the receiver ring and the serial number and Kokura stamp properly moved forward to accommodate the scope mounting base. Matching serial numbers are present on the extractor and the turned bolt handle. Smooth pistol grip stock with a folding monopod and a flat steel buttplate. Included with the rifle is a 2.5x10 Kogaku scope with integral base, a pair of binoculars (with no makers marks), and a rubberized canvas case for each, fitted with leather hardware and canvas shoulder straps.

Excellent, with 97% plus of the original blue finish, showing some areas of brown patina, mild spotting and light handling marks. The stock is very fine, with scattered dents and some light chips around the buttplate. The optics are clear with some disintegration of the scope eyepiece and the cases show mild edge wear. Mechanically excellent.
