Both daggers follow the regulation pattern for the Sturmabteilung (Stormtroopers or Brown Shirts) service dagger, 13 3/4 inches overall with 8 3/4 inch "Alles Fur Deutschland" etched double edged spear point blades, nickel hilt hardware, contoured brown wood grips with "SA" and "nazi eagle" badges, and nickel/brown enamel finished scabbards. 1) Eickhorn SA Dagger, etched with the RZM logo and "M7/66/1941" on the reverse. A non-regulation brown leather vertical hanger is mounted on the sheath. 2) Herder SA Dagger, with both the commercial and RZM (M7/18/1939) markings on the reverse. A triangular paper tag is wrapped around the grip, with the number "047209" and RZM markings on one side, and the SA runes and "SA.-/DIENSTDOLCH/nach Vorschrift" (SA Service Dagger, in Accordance with Regulations) on the reverse.

1) Excellent with some light spotting and handling marks on the blade, some light bubbling of the nickel, and minimal wear on the sheath. The hanger shows a few light scuffs and cracks. 2) Very fine with some spotting on the metal, moderate flaking of the nickel, and a few light dents on the wood. The tag is also very fine with a small tear forming on the crease and a few tiny stains.
