This beautiful Colt Single Action Army's serial number dates to 1920. It has been custom engraved with floral and scroll patterns on about 75% of the metal surfaces. The barrel is marked with the one-line address on top in a banner surrounded by engraving, and the left side has the "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER .44-40" marking. The frame has the two line patent information and Rampant Colt on the left side. The assembly number "353" is marked on the loading gate and right side rear of the frame. The frame, left side of the front strap, and butt are marked with the matching serial number. It is fitted with the standard blade and groove sights and a smooth one-piece grip.
