Excellent Documented Consecutively Numbered Pair of Second Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolvers with Factory Letter and Black Boxes Shipped to Abercrombie & Fitch

A) Colt Single Action Army Revolver

According to the included factory letter, this outstanding consecutive pair of Colt revolvers was shipped on August 13, 1958, to Abercrombie & Fitch at "Madison Avenue at 45th Street" in New York City in their current configuration. The letter notes "Consecutive serial numbers" in the "Special Features" section. The data in The Post-War Colt Single-Action Army Revolver, 1955-1975 lists 235 consecutive sets as having shipped in this configuration out of an estimated 1129 total consecutive sets produced and a total of 10,030 Second Generation Colt Single Action Army revolvers were produced in this configuration. The revolvers have the standard early Second Generation features and markings. The assembly numbers are also consecutive. They come with original factory black boxes numbered to the guns and factory papers including manuals.

ConditionNear new in box. The revolver has only slight handling and storage marks and slight cylinder drag lines. The box is fair and has loose a separated lid with loose sections.

B) Colt Single Action Army Revolver

As discussed in A.

ConditionNear new in box. The revolver has only slight handling and storage marks, slight cylinder drag lines, and some slight discoloration on the side of the hammer. The box is in very good condition with some mild edge wear from handling and storage.
