Made between 1931 and 1949. Red and nickel bead sights on the vent rib, with a full choke, 2 3/4 inch chamber, matching serial number on the lower left quadrant of the breech and a pair of 5 inch long scroll engraved wedges at the breech along with a heart-pattern border. The receiver shows nearly full coverage engraving, primarily in fine scrollwork with textured and punch-dot backgrounds. Additionally, each side has a three-panel scene of two hunting dogs in woodlands flanked by game birds in flight, with all the animals inlaid in gold. Fitted with a checkered fancy walnut beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock, with a Remington grip cap and a vented Hawkins recoil pad. Dimensions- length of pull: 14 1/2 inches, drop at comb: 1 3/8 inches, drop at heel: 1 1/2 inches.

Very fine as elaborately custom embellished, showing 95% of the blue, with a bright gray patina on the magazine tube and high edges, some light handling marks and bright edge wear. The stock is also very fine, with a few light scratches and dents, crisp checkering and attractive grain and color. Mechanically excellent.
