Built around a green painted brass frame, the pack holster is equipped to haul a water jacket equipped heavy machine gun like the Vickers or Maxim, with heavily padded brown leather flank sections, green painted steel reinforcement panels, and brown leather girth and tie-down straps, and brown leather girth straps. Saddles of this type are known to have been used by both sides of World War I, and even into World War II, with this example attributed by the consignor to the Rock Island Arsenal.

Rating Definition:

Good overall with some light cracking and wear of the leather and mild scuffing and spotting on the metal. A few markings have been hand-scratches into the leather.
