Produced as a receiver tube by Douglas Laurence Oefinger before 1986, and assembled with a WWII Sten MKII parts kit to form a complete registered weapon. Blade and peep sights, with a blue steel handguard installed behind the barrel shroud, the Long Branch nomenclature and 1944 date on the underside of the magazine well, three lines of untranslated markings (possibly Chinese) on top of the magazine well, and "DLO STAMFORD CT" on the left side of the trigger housing. Sten Guns were known to have been used by both the Communist and Nationalist Chinese forces, against each other as well as against the Japanese, and the Sten was still a go-to weapon for China as late as the Korean War. Fitted with a ventilated barrel shroud, a tube steel buttstock and a tan canvas sling.
