A Mauser Gewehr 98 derivative built on order for the government of Persia by CZ of Czechoslovakia. Blade front and tangent rear sights, with the Persian Lion crest on the receiver ring, untranslated makers marks on the left sidewall, and matching (Persian) serial numbers on the receiver, bolt and buttstock.

Excellent with 98% plus original blue finish showing some mild handling marks overall and a small amount of spotting around the front sight and on the bright components. The stock is very good, with a few dents and scuffs concentrated around the receiver. Mechanically excellent.
