Manufactured in 1940. Features an elevation adjustable blade front and windage adjustable rear notch sights. Standard two-line barrel address and patent markings on the left side with "THE WOODSMAN" marked on the left side of the barrel extension. Serial number is marked on the front grip strap. Fitted with fully checkered walnut grips. Includes a Colt maroon box hand numbered to the gun with papers and tool.
