Description:

Manufactured in 1898 with a round blade front and frame notch rear sights. The barrel is marked on top with the two-line address/patent date stamping and "COLT. D.A. 38" on the left side. The cylinder latch, crane and yoke are marked with the assembly number 322, and the serial number is on the butt. The hammer top is a brilliant niter blue with polished sides. The trigger is also a niter blue finish. Fitted with checkered hard rubber Rampant Colt grips.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall with 90% of the original blue finish, areas of high point and edge wear, light drag line on the cylinder, light surface scratches and areas of brown/gray patina on the grip straps. The grips are excellent with a light aged chocolate color and minimal light handling marks on the lower edges. Mechanically excellent.
