Double bead sight on a solid rib, with "CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL" on the right barrel, "MADE BY A.H.FOX GUN Co. PHILA. PA. U.S.A." on the left, and a 1 3/4 inch wedge of leafy vine engraving on each breech. Barrels are choked improved modified/full, with 2 1/2 inch chambers and ejectors. Deep leafy engraved frame, break lever, tangs, and trigger guard, with scenes of a fox on the underside of the frame, ducks in flight on the right and quails on the left, with "ANSLEY H. FOX" in the bird scenes. Equipped with single selective trigger and a tang safety. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock a horn forearm tip insert, silver initial oval marked "H.R. CURRAN JR." in two lines, hard rubber A.H. Fox grips cap and a vented rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 1/4 inches. Includes a russet leather mutton style case.

Good overall with 75% of the original blue finish on the barrels. With areas of dark oxidation and light pitting along the length of the barrels and the rib, small scratches and some light nicks and dings. The frame has 75% of the original case colors with areas of high point and edge wear, light gray patina on the underside with light freckling and a small area of dark oxidation at the tip of the break lever. The wood is good with a lowered comb, shortened as lightly sanded and oiled with scattered indentations and surface scratches and some light discoloration near the butt. Case is fair with scattered scuffs and areas of light to moderate discoloration.
