This rifle replaced the Model 1903 in 1933 and is considered by many to be the best semi-automatic rimfire rifle ever produced. Manufactured in 1950, this example has a dovetail blade front and elevation adjustable sporting rear sights, and is mounted on a select multipoint checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with tubular magazine and smooth steel buttplate. The left side of the barrel has the Winchester trade mark information and "MODEL 63 .22 LONG RIFLE/SUPER SPEED AND SUPER X" and standard "WP" proofs on top of the receiver and barrel.

Very good overall with 85% of the original blue finish, displaying areas of moderate high point and edge wear on the receiver as well as some light surface scratches and thinning blue on the underside of the receiver. The barrel has light surface scratches and a few scattered very small nicks. The revarnished wood is very good with crisp checkering, though it does display some minor hairline cracks at the upper tang and toe of the butt respectively. Mechanically excellent.
