Produced in 1936. This pistol has the two line address/patent markings on top of the barrel, with "COLT SHOOTING MASTER .38" on the left. Flattop target style frame with the square butt. Patridge front and square notch rear sight adjustable for elevation and windage respectively with the Rampant Colt logo on the side plate. The left side of the trigger guard is marked with the Verified Proof and "4". Grip straps and trigger face are checkered with a large smooth round cylinder latch. The hammer has the checkered spur and full blue finish. Checkered walnut grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions.
