Manufactured in the 1980s by Tippmann Arms of Fort Wayne, Indiana, this is a finely made copy of the 1919 Browning 30 Caliber Machine Gun, scaled down to match the 22 Long Rifle cartridge and configured for semi-automatic fire only. Overall length is 19 inches with a blade front sight and folding adjustable rear sight on the receiver, air-cooled barrel with ventilated head shield and a checkered pistol grip. The right side of the receiver is marked "MOD. 1919/NO. 061/TIPPMANN ARMS CO./FT. WAYNE, IN." behind the cocking handle, and a push-button safety is positioned among the rivets on the bottom rear edge of the receiver. Included with the 1919 is a folding blued steel tripod, scaled to match and fitted with a proper traverse and elevation mechanism. With a hardwood military-style case, papers from Tippmann detailing the internal operation, a manual, OD green scale ammunition can and two non-disintegrating belts (1 plastic,1 canvas).
