Manufactured in 1976. There is a 1 1/4 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving on top of the barrel at the breech, upper tang, barrel bands and on the lever. The sides of the receiver are decorated with floral scroll designs with a punch dot background flanking a gold inlaid running deer in a field scene on the left and a standing deer in a wooded scene on the right side. Both scenes are in a circle. The receiver sides are bordered with a zigzag and dot design. The left rear of the barrel has the standard markings, and the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech are marked with the Winchester oval proof which are incorporated into the engraving. The lower tang is engraved "ENGRAVED BY NICK KUSMIT". Standard hooded ramped blade front and adjustable sporting rear sights, blue finish and mounted with a nicely figured multi-point checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered plastic Winchester buttplate.

Near new as master embelished by Nick Kusmit. The carbine retains 99% blue finish with some very slight wear on the front sight hood and overall only light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with some minor crazing and finish loss on the rear portion of the forearm, a few light handling marks and sharp checkering. The markings remain sharp and clear. The action is excellent.
