This is an Argentine Model 1927 contract pistol as produced under license from Colt by the Military Small Arms Factory at Rosario. These pistols were the continuation of the early Colt produced pistols and were exact duplicates of the Colt commercial 1911A1 pistols. The slide is marked on the left side with "D.G.F.M.- (F.M.A.P.)" and the right side is marked with the Argentine Crest and "EJERCITO ARGENTINO/ SIST. COLT CAL. 11,25mm. MOD. 1927". The barrel is blued, marked with the serial number on top of the polished chamber. Equipped with the checkered slide stop and thumb safety, arched mainspring housing, with lanyard loop, checkered trigger, wide Colt hammer with checkered spur, and long grip safety. Checkered black plastic grips and three blued magazines, all numbered to the gun on the baseplate.

Excellent, with 99% of the crisp original blue finish, with a few light handling marks. Crisply checkered grips and excellent action. Extra magazines are excellent.
