Reifgraber, (an inventor, publisher and early 20th century American anarchist) utilizing a combination short recoil and gas operating system. Consignor notes state this is a very rare model with less than 70 produced. It represents an interesting albeit failed innovation in the progress of semi-automatic firearms. The trigger group and grip panels are absent.

Poor with a mottled brown patina, shallow pitting throughout, missing pieces and areas of red oxidation. The consignor states that this rare piece of Americana was salvaged from a fire.
