Produced by an unknown maker, this is a 6-shot manually rotated pinfire pepperbox revolver installed onto a German silver ring. The design originated in France, most commonly under the "Petit Protector" name, with small 4mm chambers which could accept a solid ball round or a blank cartridge. The ring is decorated with light vine engraving and "LE FEMME FATALE" around a niter blue drive spring for the smooth hammer. Included with the lot is a jewelry case which holds the ring pistol and three pinfire cartridges.

Very fine as professionally custom made. 98% of the nitre blue finish remains showing little high edge wear. Most of the German silver remains. Mechanically fine. The case is fine showing some minor handling/storage wear.
