Description:

Produced during WWI, the "trommel" (snail) magazine was intended for use with the 1914 Artillery Luger and the MP18 sub-machine gun. Blued steel construction, with a smooth top, single reinforcing rib on the bottom, matching "6335" numbers, telescoping winding handle and hexagonal AEG (Allgemeine Elektricitaets-Gesellschaft, or General Electric Company) proof stamp on the underside. An extra number "2626" has been stamped on both the top and bottom of the drum. With an AEG marked loading tool.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 40% original finish with the balance a mixed brown and gray patina visible, along with some bright edge wear and handling marks. The loading tool is in good order, and the magazine has a strong spring.
