Fixed blade front and rear frame notch sights, with "COLT D.A. 45" on the left side of the barrel, two-line address and patent markings on top and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside. An "eagle/S20" inspection mark is present on the left side of the frame, with the Rampant Colt below it. "U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1917/No./95/218" is marked on the butt. Fitted with smooth grips numbered to the gun on the inside with a lanyard swivel. Includes a leather "U.S." marked holster with leg tie.

Fine with 70% of the dark faded thin original blue finish. Displaying some light edge wear, general handling marks, and areas of thinning brown patina on the barrel and cylinder, as well as some spotting. The grips are also fine with light handling marks, and a few small indentations. Mechanically very good. The holster is fair with scuffs throughout, age cracks, and generally flexible leather.
