This is a nice example of an early 1930 Commercial Broomhandle Mauser pistol rig. These pistols are noted for their very distinctive shape, excellent fit and finish on the metal parts. These model 1930 pistols are identified by the reinforced/stepped barrel, and 12 groove grips. The top of the barrel extension is marked "WAFFENFABRIK/ MAUSER/ OBERNDORF A/N" and the left side has the early Crown over "U" acceptance proof. The right rear frame panel is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/ OBERNDORF A. NECKAR / D.R.P.u.A.P." and there is an additional Crown "U" proof on top of the rear of the breech bolt. It has the distinctive 50-1000 meter rear sight with the fixed front post. Complete with the original Walnut Mauser Banner marked combination wooden holster/shoulder stock.

Excellent with 99% bright original blue finish with just some minor edge and high spot wear with clear and distinct markings. The walnut grips are also excellent with just a couple of very minor handling marks on the left side. The stock is in fine condition with just a couple of minor handling marks on the sides and the Mauser Banner is clear but faint. Mechanically excellent.
