A sear safety is present on the extension, with cutouts present for a magazine well safety (absent, as is tradition), and the front strap is marked "L.P.38.". "L.P." is associated with a police aviation unit operating in the region of Pomerania. Fitted with checkered grips, with a wood based nickel magazine, an extra alloy based (unmarked on body) Haenel Schmeisser magazine, and a brown leather Schambach & Company (Berlin, 1929) holster with matching "L.P.38." markings.
