Also known as the Model 1905, the Model 1906 was Fabrique Nationale's take on the Browning design that Colt would make into the Model 1908 Vest Pocket, and is virtually identical, save for the absence of a manual safety/hold-open. The two-line FN address and Browning patent marks are present on the left side of the slide, with Belgian proofs and matching numbers on the slide and frame, and a pair of crossed Mosin-Nagant rifles over "9506" on the right side of the slide. This marking is associated with handguns purchased by Imperial Russia for presentation to honored graduates of their military academies. Fitted with a blued trigger and barrel, a pair of checkered "FN" grips, and a full-nickel magazine. Included with the pistol is an unmarked black leather flap holster.
