The solid rib barrel has accommodations for a front sight, and is fitted with the dovetailed base for an adjustable rear sight. The barrel features standard pre-war commercial proofs as well as the serial number and caliber under the forearm. The box lock action features very detailed game scene engraving on the sides of a bull stag in a forested scene on the right and a pair of roebuck also in a forested scene. The left side is marked "REMO <K>". The balance of the receiver shows flourishes of broad Germanic scroll and punch dot backgrounds. The action features a Greener style crossbolt, double set triggers, and a tang mounted thumb safety. Mounted with a multi-point checkered walnut forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with cheek piece, sling swivels on the buttstock and barrel and a lightly engraved steel buttplate. Comes with a 20 count box of 8.15x46R ammunition.
