Manufactured in 1957. This is a very fine example of a pre-64 Winchester model 70 target rifle with a medium heavyweight barrel, Redfield Olympic globe style front sight, scope blocks on the barrel and receiver ring, and a fully adjustable Redfield Olympic rear aperture sight. It has the standard markings throughout including the matching serial number electro-pencil on the bolt. The action is mounted on a smooth pistol grip "National Match" style stock with a checkered steel buttplate, short accessory rail and palm stop on the bottom of the forearm, and sling swivels. An N.R.A. life member sticker has been applied to the right side of the buttstock.
