Manufactured in 1944, in Mexico. This rifle features wonderfully executed floral scroll engraving on the receiver with a deep blue finish. The engraving is done in such a way as to mostly preserve the original maker's markings on the front receiver ring. The floor plate is similarly engraved and features a high relief silver inlaid pronghorn antelope bust on a punch dot background. The barrel features a ramped beaded blade front and flip up Lyman rear sporting sights. The receiver is drilled, tapped and mounted with engraved Leupold scope bases, engraved rings and a Leupold M8-4X scope. The bolt has been fitted with a Buehler safety and the action has a Timney trigger. Mounted on a glass bedded full length Mannlicher style, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip and grip cap, raised cheekpiece, leather sling, and a Pachmayr recoil pad. The consignor notes indicate that the engraving, inlay, and stock work was performed by Pachmayr.

Very fine as professionally engraved, inlaid and finished. Showing 95% of the blue with areas of light edge wear and handling marks mostly on the bolt handle and lower tang areas. The engraving is very crisp and highly detailed. The stock is very good with nice color, well defined checkering, scattered small indentations, and general handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The optics are very clear.
