Rare Tippmann Arms Fully Automatic Class III/NFA Scaled Down Version of the Browning Model 1917 Machine Gun with Tripod T&E Storage Case and Accessories

This is a beautiful example of a finely detailed, scaled down version of the famous Browning water cooled Model 1917 .30 Cal Machine Gun that is "fully automatic" and registered as a Class III/NFA weapon. These were manufactured in the early 1980s by Tippman Arms of Fort Wayne, Indiana and are faithful copy of the original design only scaled down fire the "22 Long Rifle" cartridge. This beautiful MG is complete with a tripod, T&E mechanism, two ammunition cans and two cloth belts. The right side of the receiver, behind the cocking handle it is marked "MOD. 1917/NO. F40/TIPPMANN ARMS CO./FT. WAYNE, IN.". It has the standard blade front sight and folding adjustable rear sight on the receiver, with the beautiful high polished and blued later water jacket with the contrasting brass fittings on both ends and a walnut pistol grip. It comes with a hardwood military-style case, papers from Tippmann detailing the internal operation, a manual, two OD green scale ammunition cans and two non-disintegrating cloth belts. All the accessories and weapon itself can fit inside the storage/carrying case.

ConditionExcellent with 99% of the original parkerized finish overall showing no finish loss. The gun actually looks like it was never fired. The various accessories and wooden storage case are all in excellent condition. If you are looking for one of these this is the one to buy!
