The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 4 3/4 inch barrel in .38-40 caliber, blue finish (currently silver plated), and type of stocks not listed with sold to W. Yarbrough (address unavailable) and shipped to Walter Tips of Austin, Texas, on March 10, 1894. Standard Colt markings and matching numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap. Comes with a Ben Varga of San Antonio, Texas, leather holster rig (money belt), one Mexican Peso dated 1895, and three American Morgan silver dollars dated 1878, 1896, and 1883.

Very fine as period replated, retaining 95% plus of the silver plating with some loss at the muzzle and some scattered minor high edge wear. The later production replacement simulated pearl grips are fine showing minimal handling evidence. Mechanically fine. The holster rig is very good showing a few small tears and overall flex wear. The belt is good.
