Description:

Approximately 25,000 Model 1875s were manufactured between 1875 and 1889. It has the one-line Ilion barrel address, and lacks a caliber marking. The serial number is marked on the left side of the grip frame and both grip panels. The Model 1875 Single Action revolver was Remington's attempt to compete with the Colt Single Action Army. Many of these revolvers saw hard use in the Old West, and high conditioned examples such as this revolver are difficult to find.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 70% plus original nickel finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grips are fine with a majority of the varnish, some minor handling marks, a couple small missing surface chips, and high edge wear. Mechanically excellent.
