The M38A1 Jeep was next in line from the M38 which resembled the World War II Jeep and had more modern lines. It was a military version of the civilian CJ-5 with many military upgrades. Kaiser built the M38A1 for the USMC from 1960 until 1967. This example has a September 1964 delivery date, a USMC paint scheme, Willys Hurricane straight 4 cylinder F-head engine, and SN39 command radio in CY-731 waterproof radio cabinet in the rear.
