Beaded blade on an engraved ramp front and two leaf (one standing, one folding) rear notch sights, raised quarter rib, standard markings and German proofs on the flats, and 1 inch wedges of fine scroll engraving with gold wire inlaid accents. The receiver features finely detailed scenes of four of the famous "Big Five" African big game animals with cape buffalo on the right, lions on the left, elephants on the bottom, and a leopard on the break lever. Each animal or grouping of animals feature highly detailed backgrounds in the bulino style. The scenes are bordered with fine gold inlaid scroll, and the balance is engraved with tight scroll and leaf designs. The buffalo scene is signed "A. Marbach". With dual triggers and knurled cocking piece. Highly figured checkered forearm with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece and solid Decelerator recoil pad. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 1 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 7/8 inches. With Krieghoff aluminum takedown case and two snap caps.

Near new with original finish with sharp engraving, a few light handling marks, crisp checkering, and a few small dings on the highly figured wood. Mechanically excellent. Case is very good with some dings and scuffs on the exterior.
