A) DWM Brazilian Model 1908 Rifle with Bayonet

Blade and tangent sights, with an untouched crest on the receiver along with the model marks and address, a matching numbered stock, brown leather sling, and a flat buttplate. Included with the lot is a metal muzzle protector and a Simson bayonet (17" OAL, 11 3/4" blade, wood grips) with sheath.

ConditionExcellent, with 97% plus of the original blue finish, showing some rust on the barrel band around the sling swivel, discoloration of the bolt knob and firing pin, and other light handling/wear overall. The stock is very fine as revarnished with scattered light handling marks and some cracking of the leather. The bayonet is good. Mechanically excellent.

B) Mauser Model 1909 Peruvian Contract Rifle with Bayonet

Blade front and "ski ramp" tangent rear sights, with "REPUBLICA DEL PERU/(national crest)/MAUSER ORIGINAL" on the receiver ring and the address/model marking on the side wall. Smooth pistol grip stock, with the conjoined "M/W" on the wrist, Mauser banner on the right side, and a flat steel buttplate. With a Hoerster bayonet (26" OAL, 20 5/8" quillback blade, ribbed wood grips) and sheath.

ConditionVery fine, with 95% original blue, showing mixed gray and brown on the barrel bands, along with mild handling marks and spotting. The stock is fine as re-oiled, with scattered light scuffs and dings. Mechanically excellent.
