Manufactured in 1966, this pistol shows fine scroll and leaf engraving over 90% of the surface, with floral and checkerboard accents. The majority of the surface, including the magazine floorplate, is finished in gold, with a deep blue on the small parts and a bright magazine body. In what appears to be a factory modification, slots have been added to the rear of the magazine, to facilitate round counting. Grips are smooth polished simulated tortoise shell, with gold "PB" medallions. A display case, pink cloth lined with a French cut brown velvet interior and gold "ARMI BERETTA" markings inside the lid, and a Beretta ink stamped cardboard case sleeve are included.

Excellent, with 95% plus original gold and blue finish, showing a few areas of bubbled finish, bright spots on the right side of the slide and frame, minor grip strap wear, and some light handling marks. The grips are very good, with some light scratching, and the case shows a few minor stains and rubs. Mechanically excellent.
