Description:

Constructed with a dark gray wool crown and a woven black band, this cap is trimmed with silver wire piping, with an embroidered Luftwaffe eagle and cockade on the front, a silver wire chinstrap, and a black/green patent leather visor. The interior is marked "Deutsches/Leder" on the tan leather sweatband, and "Verkaufsabteilung/der Luftwaffe/Berlin SW/Puttkammerstr. 16-18" and "56 1/2" on the golden rayon lining, protected by the sweat diamond. A blued steel wire hoop is installed in the crown for support of the structure.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with a small scuff on top of the visor and mild handling marks overall. The sweatband shows some mild staining, and the rubber material in the forehead region is disintegrating.
