Dated "1887." on the receiver, with blade front and folding ladder rear sights, bearing matching numbers on the barrel, receiver and bolt, and matching partials on a number of components. Smooth straight wrist stock, with a smooth buttplate marked "K.F.R/E.2.176." on the heel. With a Weyersberg Brothers bayonet, 23 1/4" OAL, 18 1/4" blade, "103 R 12 117." marked guard, brass hilt, and a leather sheath with matching unit number.

Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, showing some light handling marks and spotting overall. The receiver and bolt are both bright, with some mild spotting. The stock is very fine, with some dings and scratches. The bayonet is good with solid leather on scabbard. Mechanically excellent.
