Description:

Manufactured in 1917. Blade front and "ski-ramp" tangent rear sights, with the arsenal and date markings on top of the chamber, and a sheet metal dust cover fitted to the bolt. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a matching serial number on the underside, "crown/Gothic letter" proofs and a letter "B" on the right, a smooth flat buttplate, and a brown leather sling. Included with the rifle is a brown pigskin cartridge pouch dated "1933" on the back.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 40% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, bright edge wear and mild handling marks. The receiver shows a mixed gray color, with the bolt handle turned brown and the rest of the bolt bright. The stock is also fine, with some dents, scuffs and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.
