Spandau Arsenal Model 71/84 Bolt Action Magazine Rifle

Blade and folding ladder sights, with the barrel marked "crown/F.W." and "crown/SPANDAU" on the chamber flats, and the receiver marked "I.G. Mod. 71/84." on the left and "1887." on the right. Matching numbers are present on most of the metal components, including the majority of the individual screws. Smooth straight grip stock, with front sling swivel and a flat buttplate marked "G.J.R./182. ."

ConditionVery fine, with 90% plus original blue, showing a few areas of gray or brown patina and mild handling marks. The receiver, bolt and buttplate are bright, with some mild spotting and accumulated grease, and the buttplate appears to have been polished. The stock is very fine, with mild dents and scuffs; the finish is strong but has "fingerprint" shaped patterns in a few areas. Mechanically excellent. Missing rear sling swivel.
