Manufactured in 1934. Wide blade front and square notch flat top rear sights, with the two-line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, the National Match nomenclature on the right and a matching serial number beneath the firing pin stop plate. The Government Model frame is marked "W/VP" on the left side of the trigger guard and "12" on the right, with a short milled trigger, wide checkered hammer, arched checkered mainspring housing and grips, "COLT/45 AUTO" marked magazine, and an "MB" marked barrel. With a Colt National Match labeled "black box", numbered to another pistol.

Fine with 75% of the original blue finish, showing a dark spotted cold blue touch up on the grip straps and mainspring housing, bright edge wear and mild handling marks. The grips are very good, with some chips and dings on the points. The box is fair, with material absences and tape repairs. Mechanically excellent.
