This is an excellent example of a model 52 target rifle. This was the last series of Model 52 rifles that Winchester produced. A high quality single shot rifle that is still used in competition today. Features include a 28 inch heavy weight free floated barrel with "special Winchester counter bore" and steel scope blocks, Redfield International Match front sight and Redfield Palma receiver sight, heavy one piece walnut stock with accessory rail and black Winchester recoil pad. With Redfield sight inserts and Freeland leather arm sling. Manufactured circa 1975. Noted on page 163 in "THE WINCHESTER MODEL 52" book by Herbert Houze only 37 Model 52E International Prone Match rifles were shipped between 1975 and 1980 in a serial number range that ran from E123000 to E125000.

Excellent. 98% plus with numerous light scuffs overall and scratches visible on the left side of the stock. The accessories are also excellent with a few scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
